@j4n3z Fantastic, just what I was hoping it would be! Thank you again 😊
@j4n3z Thank you for your very detailed answer: you are a gem!
One more thing (ha!): in your experience is /e/OS good regarding updates, in particular security ones?
@RFancio Grazie per il boost!
@tchambers Been curious about this one for a long time! Still on the waiting list, though, so thank you for sharing this 🤗 #JustPeeking

What's your experience with /e/OS 3.0 and apps compatibility, for those of you using it? In particular, with notoriously difficult ones like banking apps or national ID apps (SwissID, I'm frowning at you)?
Have things improved compared to the previous version? Have you found solutions to incompatibilities?

@Siilwyn Yes, that seems to bè the reason. For some turnarounds may exist, and I could also change banks.
But a particularly tough but to crack seems to be the app SwissID. It will consider /e/OS a "tampered with" phone from what I heard around me. Sadly, I also need this for work, so not much choice for me right now.

@Siilwyn Sorry to bother you so soon, but I just read the following snippet on https://www.androidauthority.com/fairphone-gen-6-3570315/

“The idea with the design of Moments is that it’s tethered to hardware,” the company explained in a statement. “This turns it into a holistic experience that is easy to access and is not just an ‘added feature’.”

If this holds, it looks like the "moments" feature would not depend from the installed OS, wouldn't you agree? But perhaps I'm putting my own hopes on the balance here...

Fairphone Gen 6 is here with a modular design that gives you even more freedom

Fairphone has announced the Fairphone Gen 6, and the repairable phone now has a modular back that enables several accessories.

Hello @Siilwyn I did not (yet) get an answer. For other reasons, I am now more inclined to suffer a little bit more under stock android (mainly because of incompatibilities with some local ID and banking apps that would be quite a burden in the short/middle term). And perhaps reinstall later on. But I'll let it settle down a couple more days before making up my mind.
Anyway, should I find out something more about my original question, I'll make sure you'll get pinged here in the comments.
