I've just spent 20 minutes trying to find where I can disable doomscrolling in the settings but when I finally found it and swiped it off, the screen just reloaded and showed me yet another atrocity.

#timetravel

About to embark on a short journey back in time to the place that owned my childhood. Feeling quite ambivalent as my emotions swing from nostalgia to dread. I had the happiest of childhoods in many ways but as an adult I've grown into a different person who doesn't easily remember this and I too quickly judge the place on how it fits with the current 'me'. I will endeavour to be more open and accepting this trip and try and recapture those happy memories.

Something I forgot to comment earlier: There is no such thing as an 'Illegal Alien'- or any such non-sense. We are, all of us, people who come from somewhere else. It is in human nature to wander, to go to new places and see new things. For the longest time humans were a wandering species, living on the world they were in. No one is Illegal, period.
