"Jacha-chacha-chacha-chow!
Fraka-kaka-kaka-kaka-kow!
A-hee-ahee ha-hee!
A-oo-oo-oo-ooo!"

Cats - 300am zoomies. Across your face! 😸
agreed. i loved dancing. i went to clubs and raves all throughout my youth. and i was never bullied in those spaces, but i was bullied in general, so i understand the fear of being recorded and then mocked
i always feel lucky to have gotten to grow up before the internet became a thing.
"In an age of performative cruelty, kindness is punk as fuck."
I'm utterly done with irony , sarcasm & ridicule. None of that is cool & all of it is cruel. The world is in desperate need of earnest & kind, now more than ever.
No more dystopias, no more fiction that celebrates meanness of spirit. No punching down.
Hope is not naive. It's an act of will & extreme bravery.
Fuck caustic wit. Bring on whimsy. Softness is metal. Gentle is strength.
Empathy is a superpower.
1. Starting a new 6 month work run tomorrow. This week off has me fully rested and raring to go.
2. Loving the cool change in the weather here, especially the brisk mornings.
3. So grateful for my life-partner always being so smart, supportive and caring. She makes every day a true pleasure.
I've been sneaking around beige for quite a while without a proper #introduction.
So hi, I'm iita, a Finn from a small industrial town.
Describing me is a bit tricky.
I'm #ActuallyAutistic, of the can survive work, hate recreation kind. Very-late-realised, unsupported, unbelieved. To me, autism is the answer to years of odd hell. To my entourage, it's the elephant in the room.
I have a hard time with groups not only because I fail at connecting but also because I'm often something-but-not-quite.
I have disabilities which are mostly invisible. This means daily inconvenience but it's marginal.
I'm LGBTQIA+, being aroace, but so new to the idea that I find it hard to shake off the binary and the afab shield I've carried for sixty+ years. I do not mind feminine me, but at the same time, it is of secondary or low importance. Woman does not define me. I utterly fail at relationships.
I'm a nerd, sort of. Mostly no thank you to tech, yes thank you to all kinds of rabbit holes. Drawn to maps and archaeological sites, social history and architecture. Genealogist.
Enjoy crafts & clever use of language(s).
Adore cats, no longer living with one.
No one does cute quite like Rosie! She's loving the winter vibe on her favourite blanket.
