I'm in the middle of writing a doc for work.
I wrote "DOES" and "does NOT" so many times that I reached the point of orthographic dysgraphia / semantic saturation and "does" no longer looks like a real word.

"Generators like xAI's emit huge amounts of nitrogen dioxide, a highly reactive gas which causes irreversible respiratory damage over time. And that's before you consider its effects on the ozone layer, or its contribution to acid rain, smog, and nutrient pollution in local soil and waterways. With 35 generators now chugging along, that's a whole chorus of turbines spewing the toxic gas into low-income, minority-led communities 24/7."
Today, an elected representative Black man -- a Senator -- performed an astounding feat, obliterating the record of an awful racist, segregationist remnant of the civil war (set whilst trying to defeat the Civil Rights Act of 1957).
It was perfection.
Not only did he blast past that record which stood for 67 years, but where the mediocre racist phoned it in (no pun intended) by reading from the DC phone book, and reading the text of legislation to fill the time, Senator Cory Booker was on his feet for over 25 hours, speaking for most of it ... and he stayed on topic, and dropped truth bombs left and right.
It was amazing, and I wouldn't have believed that anyone could remain eloquent, impassioned, and incisive for 25 hours, but Booker did so.
He has gained huge respect for it -- and deservedly so.
👏👏👏👏👏
In the words of a friend:
"Cory Booker dismantles another Confederate monument."
This is beyond…

Le ministre de la recherche français a dit sa « préoccupation », mercredi, après cette décision des autorités américaines. Le chercheur du CNRS aurait subi un contrôle aléatoire à son arrivée, avant que son ordinateur et son téléphone ne soient fouillés.
Good friends in Texas are experiencing difficult times. :(
Their air conditioning failed, and temperatures are rising fast. They have a young kid.
