Morning all.

The icy cold weather has broken in the UK and temperatures rising in time for Christmas - we rarely get a snowy Christmas here.

Are you looking forward to Christmas or is it something you dislike?
I'd like to enjoy it more, but I have an aversion to proscribed 'enjoyment' - the idea that because it's a certain date (christmas, birthday, a party etc) that I will be in the mood to enjoy it. Just not how I'm built. I prefer spontaneous fun.

A book recommendation if you like psychological thrillers - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/45360527-the-silent-patientI
I enjoyed this book quite a lot. A good premise, characters, and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. The basic story of this psychological thriller is of a psychotherapist who tries to help a woman convicted of killing her husband and who has stopped speaking.
As a debut novel it was written well (though I listened to the audiobook which was well voiced and acted)

Random question of the day:

Can you imagine a future where Google Search isn't the dominant search engine? Currently about 85%+ of all searches are through Google.
What is the scenario were they get down below 50%?

Good evening everyone, whereever you are.
I am home alone tonight, except for twocats, so have an evening of writing planned.
I would much prefer to watch a film though. Was thinking of rewatching Man of Steel as it was sad to hear that Henry Cavill won't be returning, after all, to the blue and red suit.
Just caught up with the #ENGvPAK #cricket result. I continue to be impressed by this positive winning mindset of Stokes as captain.
Looking forward to the #Ashes next year to see if we can take it to the Aussies.
