I really like those stores that add free winegum packs to their deliveries, and I also don't want to sound spoiled or ungrateful... But please do not use winegums that contain gelatine. I'm not comfortable with the thought that an animal had to die for my hobby.

Now that the trolls have found the fediverse, I think I feel more comfortable to change my profile to my nickname "Shred". It's not just a nickname, but my official alias. It's even printed on my ID card.

Why "Shred"? Well... Back in 1988 I needed a nickname to enter the Amiga demo scene, but I couldn't come up with a good one. Then I found the word "SHRED" printed on my swim shorts. English is my second language, and back then I didn't know the meaning of the word, but I liked the sound. So I called myself Shred. 😁

Nice! I found this #Psion3a for a good price. The hinge was broken, but I could fix it with superglue. The membrane keypad didn't work, but only because the ribbon cable had slipped out of the connection. Everything was repairable, and otherwise it's in an excellent optical condition. I never had a #Psion before, and I like this device already! 😀
