Unpopular Writing Advice You're Actually Going to Hate:
Drafting > Revision
Rewrite it, loves. You'll hate it, but give it a try. Use separate windows or printed copies but you'll be far more likely to figure out why a writing piece isn't working when you draft it again.
I still feel something immeasurable was lost when software began to prioritize revision over drafting.
As always, use the advice that works for you and discard the advice that doesn't.
Mike [SEC=OFFICIAL]Back when Windows 95 came out you could drag "The Internet" icon to the bin and it'd pop up a message that said "Are you sure you want to delete The Internet?" and we thought it was hilarious but in hindsight maybe one of us should have said "yes".

It’s funny, the fog supposedly enshrouds the world in mystery, but I feel the opposite. It’s only in those misty surroundings that the world can reveal itself as it is. It appears purer, calmer, more genuine. Unencumbered by piercing gazes, nature finally catches its breath. Freshly invigorated by this brief moment of freedom, leaves perk up all around, while living beings assume that beautifully tragic, yet oddly pensive look.

I’ve been trying so hard to write something today, but I’m a bit sick and my brain refuses to come up with any coherent thought whatsoever. I guess it’s time to call it a day and settle in with a nice cup of tea and a good book.
