@[email protected] it would seem it's just "hidden" on the Libra 2. I haven't tried this yet but it should work https://www.reddit.com/r/kobo/comments/se44c0/how_to_activate_official_dropbox_integration_on/

Mastodon.Uno Social - Italia

Worth noting: Unlike the Kobo Sage, the Libra 2 does NOT support Dropbox.

Didn't know that until today. That kinda sucks. The only way to get ePubs/PDFs onto a Libra 2 is via USB cable.

Not a feature I need often, so I'll be alright on my Libra 2, but it's certainly a good selling point for the Sage if you need to import documents/ePubs a lot.

@[email protected] you sounded very excited about the Kobo Libra 2. I read somewhere that the Dropbox integration is available only on the Sage. Is that true? Is that affecting your usage? thank you

I don't mean to brag, he said, bragging, but the cover to my upcoming novel Starter Villain may be the best book cover ever. Also the book is coming out on September 19 and you can totally pre-order it now if that's a thing you like to do. Also, also, the cover artist is Tristan Elwell and he did a fantastic job, which should be obvious because after all it is the best book cover ever
16 years in and iOS still doesn't have this feature that MacOS (née Mac OS X) has had since it launched 22 years ago: “Learn Spelling”.

I really want Mastodon to be the next big thing, but it frankly has a culture problem that is going to kill its broader adoption. After quite a long time here, and a few days at Bluesky, the comparative experience looks like this:

Bluesky: "Everyone's posting about the latest weird inside joke, and I'm excited to post my weird twist on it!"

Mastodon: "Jokes offend me because I was born without a sense of humor. I demand that you wrap all levity in a content warning or I will FediBlock you."

You asked for it, and it’s coming. Quote posts, search, and groups are on their way. In the meantime, check out the new onboarding experience launching today. https://blog.joinmastodon.org/2023/05/a-new-onboarding-experience-on-mastodon/
A new onboarding experience on Mastodon

Today we’re making signing up on Mastodon easier than ever before. We understand that deciding which Mastodon service provider to kick off your experience with can be confusing. We know this is a completely new concept for many people, since traditionally the platform and the service provider are one and the same. This choice is what makes Mastodon different from existing social networks, but it also presents a unique onboarding challenge. To make this step easier, we now have a default sign-up option that works with a server we operate. If you wish to leave or join a different server, you can do so at any time.

LOL. Musk claims he's going to sue Microsoft for not paying $42k for the API.
$44 billion to run the site like a 7th grader would.

So for over a week now Elon Musk's circle of friends have been going on and on insisting that Bob Lee's killer was obviously an unhoused individual and blaming the city for not jailing more people.

Now, it turns out that the guy who killed him was another tech exec who knew him, and they were originally in a car together.
