Android developer based in Salzburg, Austria 🇪🇺, who loves coding, cycling and coffee.
Additionally, I enjoy listening to music (see last.fm), some nerdy podcasts (harry potter & history) and watching the occasional indie movie (see mubi).

@maaikees welcome to salzburg! hope you like it here 🤗
@captainepoch this is the way 🙌
@lisawillmeer oh wow! 😲
that must have been a crazy lot of work!

@Riedler using
- bspwm on my office pc & work laptop
- xfce on 2 media pcs. both auto launching steam in big picture mode, though. so i guess that doesn't really count.
- kde on my tablet, as everything else i tried sucked on touch screens

voted for bspwm in the poll, as that's the one i actually use productively

@lisawillmeer ah i meant the finished result. never sure what to call it to differentiate it from the design, but wikipedia calls it "pattern" as well in their image descriptions so i just keep using that 😅
@lisawillmeer oh wow! do you have a picture of the finished pattern? would be really curious about that one
@lisawillmeer already looks pretty cool in the pictures, though 😃

@lisawillmeer i got a heat press from plottix, which has improved my ironing greatly.

@lisawillmeer haha yeah, it was. thank you! 😊

@benjaminradio i'm not sure what kind of preferences you mean. i guess those personal rankings of websites and such? you can use kagi without those, they recently introduced kagi privacy pass so you can use their service anonymously.

you don't have to use their AI features either. my plan only gives me that quick answer feature when i explicitly request it, i don't even have access to their full fledged assistant which would also preserve the context. privacy wise the assistant sounds pretty similar to duck.ai to me
