And by “doesn't host anything" I mean services used by customers. I know y'all have websites, but I assume you don't have alerts for those and just let them come back when your hosting provider comes back. But if you do, I guess I'm curious why haha
#askatp I just saw this @overcastfm
migration issue and it made me curious what y'all's alerting strategy is for stuff like this? Living in the corporate world PagerDuty is pretty abundant, do you use that or something similar? Do you even know what that is haha? (I'm sure @siracusa knows) And as far as I know @caseyliss doesn't host anything, but what if the Movie Database goes down, do you have alerts for that setup? And if so how is that configured?

@bigzaphod @verge Oh gotcha! I misunderstood, I thought you meant before today. Yeah, that is a good point.

I did some googling and found this, looks like as of January 1, 2025 it was about 21%. So you’re right, a bit worse than before. It would be nice to see some of this historical data represented in these articles. I definitely agree with you.

@bigzaphod Just read this a few minutes before I saw your post. This article has them. For better or worse it was the first article I saw on the topic. I think @verge is doing some good work. https://www.theverge.com/news/664811/us-china-pause-tariffs-90-days
US and China slash tariffs

Got this on my Mac and a blue screen on my PC, rough day to be a computer in my household
Wow! I didn’t foresee Apple officially announcing a new season of Ted Lasso exclusively through Apple Intelligence! 🫠
Cleaning out my office today and I realized I have 9 computers in here… not including tablets, or this weird android/linux phone-computer hybrid thing. All but 2 predate 2014, so I guess I’m into vintage computing? Or I’m just a hoarder. I love learning things about myself 😅
