It's always a maelstrom of FEELS when you write 'The End'.Current WIP about a disabled veteran approaching middle age whose last bootstrap broke off in her callused hands, leaving her clutching at anything to save her daughter. It's about war's violence coming home to roost, about serial killers, found family, and the magic in resistance.
I've told this story 3x now, in 3 very different ways, at 3 different points in my life, but at its heart it's always been about these themes. #fantasybooks
