Since Spirit's Blessing is going to be set in a more modern inspired setting, I'm thinking of bringing back the hellhound idol character idea I had shelved before. Since magic and technology are going to be important to the world, I think it would be a great idea to see how the entertainment industry would work in my fantasy worlds. And hey, maybe I might put in other entertainers as a sort of nod to my own interests.

I know that I've just gotten back to writing, but I kinda want to write that blog post on women in fantasy/fiction, especially in my own writing. I realize I tend to write a lot of women in positions of power, and want to talk about it more.
Today's Writers Coffee Club reminded me of a story idea that I was considering but never planned out.
It was going to be about twin sisters. One was very frilly and girly but extremely sadistic and destructive while the other was more goth/emo recluse but loved helping others. But because of how they looked, people often misunderstood them, often attributing the goth sister's deeds to the girly one and vice versa.
I should actually flesh it out more.
The planning for Spirit's Blessing (yeah, I'm sticking with that title) is going great. I've settled on the main love interests and the MC has a semblance of a personality. Once I get the world and lore figured out, then I think I'll be ready to start writing the zero draft.
