@ret @baralheia Brother uses a separate drum unit as opposed to bundling it into the cartridge with the toner. Drum has a life of around 15,000 pages so for most people that's years of use. Kind of strange they still use a corona wire to generate the drum charge but for a consumer grade printer Brother is pretty good.

@dosnostalgic Let's be honest, for the majority of the people that would heed that message this is a net benefit. Seventh gen Intel machines are close to ten years old and if by some miracle a $400 consumer machine is still running after that long it's ready to be replaced. Better that than a bunch of unsecured Win 10 machines clogging up the Net with malware.
@hacks4pancakes Taking an SNRI for CIPN. A class of drugs not included yet, but I'm not trusting this administration on anything. Without it I'm almost useless when it comes to my hands and feet.
Can't imagine the fear for people who need these targeted drugs for depression or other conditions.
