Google Maps should require a passport number before allowing you to use the word 'authentic' in a restaurant review.
A creative way to run (what I hope is) speaker cable in this restaurant. But I feel like there's a 50/50 chance of there being another BS 1363 plug on the other end of this cable...

@tsyum I believe nobody was injured. Thankfully they were able to stop it spreading to surrounding homes. Likely hundreds of people living within a few metres of the structure.

I think two people were killed by fireworks in other cities this year, plus the usual tally of eye injuries and attacks against emergency services.

Just three weeks ago I went to a jazz gig at the beautiful Vondelkerk.

Now it's been destroyed by careless idiots with fireworks. Infuriating.

@th ah, these are my colleagues. This is indeed very normal.
I'm not sure that listing the feature 'direct access to emergency exit' sends quite the right message here.

I tried some of the scarier prompts from reddit on the new model and it shut them down straight away. It didn't agree with me or encourage me to keep going.

I don't trust OpenAI as far as I can throw them on ethics but this will probably turn out to be one of their more socially-responsible moves.

Did some doomscrolling in the chatgpt subreddit after I saw that lots of people were complaining about losing the (unbearably sycophantic) 4o model.

I'm now pretty convinced that asking the LLM to give itself a name is a big red flag.
