There were some little things I did with my mother, just whimsical little things. I'd call milk "moo," and pronounce egg like "aieeg."
Mom's been gone 25 years now, but I still remember those things, and I still do them, once in a while, just to remember.
Time is awful.
We should be making a list.
The companies that took the opportunity for a far-right administration to come to power in the US to abandon their DEI and LGBTQ+ initiatives have proven they never cared about those things to begin with. US media memory is so short; we must remember ourselves.

The market is *dead* for freelancers and a big part of that (in my opinion) is fragmentation. Let's get that network effect *back*.
