I‘m getting ready to call it a night, but I’d like to let everyone know that my honey is going into surgery tomorrow around noon for a double mastectomy.

I’ll be at the hospital with them (well, as much as they let me!), and I’d appreciate it if y’all could keep them in mind tomorrow afternoon.

Yesterday was a pretty mixed bag. We got a call from the #Surgical #Oncologist confirming that the two #biopsies were #cancerous, ​ which wasn’t surprising, but was still hard to hear. ​

Later that evening, our son (who lives just around the corner) came over to see us (but mostly Sami, who’s his birth mom), and after some talking, we watched a #movie he hadn’t seen before - #GhostInTheShell 🤖​. We had a lot of great #discussions after that. All in all, a good night. 💤
