RT @fisipolimi: Thanks to the @EUCommission, the #SOLUS team reached its goal: they developed a multimodality #imaging system now being validated in clinic to reduce the need for breast #biopsies with noninvasive cancer diagnosis.

Yesterday was a pretty mixed bag. We got a call from the #Surgical #Oncologist confirming that the two #biopsies were #cancerous,
which wasn’t surprising, but was still hard to hear.
Later that evening, our son (who lives just around the corner) came over to see us (but mostly Sami, who’s his birth mom), and after some talking, we watched a #movie he hadn’t seen before - #GhostInTheShell 🤖. We had a lot of great #discussions after that. All in all, a good night. 💤

Thank you all for your kind words the other day. I managed to get through the fasting and the prep, do my presentation, and then I had the #colonoscopy. They did have to do some #biopsies, so I'm still waiting on that, and due to my #Cancer history, they want me to come back in 3 years (le sigh), but everything else went as well as could be expected, except I got stuck 4 times (dehydration and shitty veins). Appreciate you all!
