Closing narration:
Obscure and metaphysical explanation to cover a phenomenon. Reasons dredged out of the shadows to explain away that which cannot be explained. Call it 'parallel planes' or just 'insanity'. Whatever it is, you'll find it in the Twilight Zone...

Closing narration
Kirby, Webber, and Meyers, three men lost. They shared a common wish—a simple one, really. They wanted to be aboard their ship headed for home. And fate—a laughing fate—a practical jokester with a smile that stretched across the stars, saw to it that they got their wish with just one reservation: the wish came true, but only in the Twilight Zone

#thetwilightzone1959 s01 e17, January 29,1960 - The Fever

closing narration: Mr. Franklin Gibbs, visitor to Las Vegas, who lost his money, his reason, and finally his life to an inanimate, metal machine, variously described as a "one-armed bandit", a "slot machine", or, in Mr. Franklin Gibbs' words, a "monster with a will all of its own." For our purposes, we'll stick with the latter definition because we're in the Twilight Zone.

There weren't enough seasons of the original #RodSerling #TwilightZone. That perfect combination of black and white film with the ideal incidental music and the clothing, hair styles and architecture of the early late 1950s/early 1960s is unbeatable. I've watched just about every anthology series I could get my hands on and the close second which was also amazing was Brian Clemens' #Thriller (UK). Modern attempts just don't quite get it right.
