Then OpenAI went private and they all kept working there. Then Musk took over X and they all stayed there. Then X put Trump on the throne and they're all still there, some of them applauding.

And the reality is that, by *default*, apps can and *should* of course last longer than books which literally decay. It is actually strange that apps have dramatically shorter lifespans than books. This situation is *artificial*. But you are clearly aware of this, since we are right now arguing about precisely that: how Apple creates this situation by actively stopping emulators that would otherwise exist. (4/x)
