Repair vouchers are coming to (selected) London boroughs very soon thanks to @restartproject 👏👏👏.
Vouchers will offer discounts on repairs of broken electrical devices at #indie #repair shops. No doubt they’ll be as successful as they’ve been in other European countries!

@restartproject For me it's just pure common sense. I work at instustrial plants where equioment sellers provide all documentation and spareparts and they let end-users use their parts without any restrictions.
I don't understand why same doesn't apply to home appliances anymore. Vast majority won't hack or short circuit them anyway.
We were on BBC Radio 4's You and Yours this week - Fiona spoke about the growth of repair cafes in the UK, our new reports released this week and they even paid a visit to Huddersfield Repair Cafe where we hear repairs in action!🪛🌱
