Darin wird anfängerfreundlich mit Illustrationen erklärt, wie man seine Kleidung ausbessern oder aufpeppen kann. Auch von Hand, ohne Nähmaschine. Außerdem gibt es Tipps zur Pflege von Kleidung, damit diese länger hält.

I was thinking these socks were through but then I decided to try a technique I've seen recently: adding an actual patch.
I picked up stitches below the whole damaged area, a few stitches wider than the damage. I knit enough rows to cover everything, then grafted the live stitches at the top and sewed the sides down.
On the inside I got away the worst damage and then wove loosely over the whole to fix the sides.

I'm... I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I mend all the parts that wear out. And then I'm done. Right? Oh well, at least they get prettier with every mend.
