Hey folks!
As part of my new year resolutions, I decided it's time to pass the torch for the @crossposter maintenance to someone else.
This is not about maintaining the service, but the tool itself, the dev side of it.

If you're into #ruby, #RoR and you used the crossposter, reach out: https://github.com/renatolond/mastodon-twitter-poster/issues/918

Please boost for reach :)

It's been a while since I haven't been able to do more than minimal maintenance for this project, it achieved what I needed on a personal level (I implemented all features that I needed for...

Yesterday we had a CodeTogether session with #RubyBelgium and #AppTweak. I talked a bit about solargraph, how to improve the suggestions and gave a little demo of the remote debugging of the debug gem.

I was planning to record the session and put the video online, but due to technical problems (as in: I forgetting to enable the mic) that ship has sailed 😅

In any case, here are the slides and I can answer any questions!

If you're around Brussels come and join us!

Code together: digging into solargraph

Code together are back! Digging into solargraph: Autocomplete, linting and debugging with new ruby tools Some years ago RubyMine was the only way to get some acceptable IDE support for Ruby. Times are changing as Solargraph supports improves and the new Ruby debug gem can work with different IDEs. In this talk we'll show some before and after of configuring Solargraph properly, talk about rubocop advancements in analysis time and show a little bit of the new Ruby debugger working with VScode.

⚠️ We are planning to release important security fixes for #Mastodon on February 3rd, between 13:00 and 15:00 UTC.

To make sure that most servers can upgrade swiftly, we will release the fixes both as v3.3.2 and v3.4.6 (they will, of course, be also available on the main branch).

To make sure the upgrades on those older versions require the least intervention, with just a process restart, we have just released preparatory releases v3.3.1 and v3.4.5.

Please upgrade!

I've updated a personal project over the holidays (https://ivglib.com) to the latest rails, and I found that I enjoy very much the "Turbo + Stimulus" / Bulma combo. Very little JS for a page that feels interactive and bulma looks good even though I can't design for shit 😂
