I'm particularly interested in #covid info, connection with others with disability #cfsme and those interested in #socialjustice and #feminism.

Opinion: The unconscionable move many hospitals are making 😷 https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/29/opinions/covid-mask-hospitals-health-patients-shihipar/index.html "There’s no question that masks are annoying and add to hospitals’ costs, but that in no way justifies adopting policies that could endanger the very populations health care centers are supposed to serve. Those at highest risk for severe disease and death from Covid also happen to be the ones who generally need to access health care the most." #COVID #COVID19

Cardiologist: "I'd love to say we can think COVID is like the common cold. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
It's not even just like the flu. This virus is very different from any other virus we have seen in our lifetime."

In the Oceania region, XBB.1.16.* "Arcturus" is growing steadily in both Australia (19%) and New Zealand (12%), on a similar trajectory.

Note the 2nd-largest state in Australia - Victoria - has not shared any samples for over a month, the dismal routine.

I know a few people who have gone rapidly downhill mentally after Covid. Like immediately progressed 20 years in mental decline.

ā€œThe harmonic mean basically says ā€œDon’t forget to tighten the nosewire at least every 20 mins or you might as well be using a bifold.ā€ Wondering if someone can make a jaw-moving animatronic test rig because I definitely don’t want to do this more than another couple times.ā€
