It's almost been a year since I moved to Far North Queensland, I've been wondering how Cairns hasn't got drier, albeit it's much been cooler.
Perhaps the cold shower reminds me of how I got here in the early days - light showers with a touch of breezy wind.
[Life] has not been easy, but it is manageable. I think I kind of understand why people are doing it tough now. You have to do things you hate so that you are able to pay for the things you like to do. For almost a year, I've been taking double shifts in a day to set up this new chapter, and it's just difficult.
I cannot imagine how hard it can be for those who have kids or dependencies, but here's to a good start. Look up to the sky and just let yourself drift into the vast universe.
Travelling tips: no need to carry too much stuff.

20kg of baggage is a lot. Pack wisely. 
Couldn't believe that this would be the last sunset I would see in my workplace. There is a mix of gratitude, excitement, anger, disappointment, sadness, and a somewhat-fulfilling emotion mixed together.
Wage theft took place here, but so long as I get my independence and keep myself free from dangerous entanglements and worries, so be it. Better lay low than keep on fighting for a lost cause.
All's well that ends well, and the show must go on.
Been thinking about doing some #raspberrypi projects, especially with Zero 2 W.
Probably it gives me some nostalgia using a 512MB PC - the slowness, the 'clunkiness.'
But at the same time, I'm going to only use the CLI system, as this forces me to leave the GUI environment.
