I'm most fascinated by the fact that the same sorts of people who cry about going woke and subsequently broke for a game offering preferred pronoun options for characters are now so happy to purchase, play, and promote a game where you can literally be trans.

It's almost like the pronouns were never the issue, and the cruelty to trans people and their allies was the point.
