@rustybrick only if we assume all prompts are "searches".

Btw - great to see you yesterday!

In the #debate #Trump said that protestors ""went into Seattle, they took over a big percentage of the city of Seattle."

The area known as "CHAZ" or "CHOP" that was occupied by protesters covered about 42 acres (0.17km²).

The land area of Seattle is 53,755 acres (217.54km²)

42 / 53,755 = 0.00078

Apparently to Trump 0.078% is "a big percentage" of #Seattle. #factcheck #theydidthemath

@wilreynolds 100%. This, and also:
- Ad blockers
- Multi-device journeys
- Dark social (lacking referrer strings)
- Cookie clearing plugins
- Zero-click everything (SO MUCH activity around all our brands happens on social, in search results, on sites that send no traffic, in the offline world, etc.)

Remember next time you get asked about exactness of your data to walk a client through all the examples in this post as a way to defend why the pursuit of clean data might be a fools errand.

In the last quarter century, no leak of this magnitude or detail has ever been reported from Google’s search division. If you're in SEO or care about search engine traffic, you should probably see this.
Here's my post detailing the leak's disclosure, my process for authentication, and some early interpretations of a few pieces we analyzed therein: https://sparktoro.com/blog/an-anonymous-source-shared-thousands-of-leaked-google-search-api-documents-with-me-everyone-in-seo-should-see-them/
