I just cancelled an eye doctor appointment because I couldnt find my wallet. Searched everywhere in my house and car for it. Panic is setting in. Im beginning to think I need to cancel my cards and get a new ID. Frustrated, I dejectedly shove my hands in my pockets... only to find my wallet in its best hiding spot to this day.

Learning how to cope with windshield wiper anxiety. I’m convinced all the other drivers judge me when my wipers are on hyperdrive while driving in the rain! How can they possibly see out of their windshield if there's more than a few drops of rain?!

I feel like Ive had an unusually comforting time on the internet recently. For a while I was usually a lurker and didnt engage with any social media directly. But the people Ive interacted with on Mastodon have been wonderful. I always felt like I needed friends to make posts, but the fediverse kinda made me realize that its easy to find cool new people that share genuine interest in what youre saying.
