Today, some fixes were made to the Entropicontron/Glitch effect, and cross-fade was added to avoid artifacts. A dry/wet control for the Glitch will also be added. All of this will be available in v1.2. #audioplugins

Finished the UI and DSP for the "Rgate" module for Entropictron. Some refinements are still needed. The invented name "Rgate" refers to randomly silencing or reducing the sound at random interval, gain, and duration. It also supports an inverted mode. It will available in version 1.2.0.

@sjaehn Hi, thanks! Yes, the whole idea of the plugin is moving in that direction. The next module will be a bitcrusher. Recently, I’ve been studying different databending/datamoshing workflows to see if I can bring a similar concept into a plugin module, but in a real-time and more controllable way.

Development of Entropictron 1.2 has started with a new Random Gate module. It randomly silences the input sound, with parameters for silence duration, interval timing, and gain range (how much the sound is silenced). #audioplugins
