@pyr_ice When i write some music, I avoid listening to music that are in the same genre & mood. Because if I do, my brain start copying what I'm listening to into what i'm writing.

quick question to #musicians on here. when you start your process, like writing/composing/mixing. do you usually find it hard to listen to other songs that are musically different from what you are making?

for example, I'm on the process of making a track that was high energy and uplifting. I then tend to avoid #music that is somber and gloomy, because it may hinder me from production itself.
