It's time to realize that Republicans *don't want* to stop school shootings, inner city shootings or those in #LGBTQ clubs, etc. These demographics lean strongly Democratic. You can bet if there was an epidemic of mass shootings at rural trailer parks, they would do something.

Nobody is “more autistic” or “less autistic” but that doesn’t mean that we’re all autistic in the same way and it doesn’t mean that our conflicts with neuronormativity impact us all in the same way or to the same extent.

I must confess I don't understand the logic of punishing a billionaire by fining him a million bucks. It doesn't hurt him. It's like throwing a pebble at an elephant. The same pebble might kill a small animal. A week's incarceration for a daily wage earner actually does far more material damage than a million dollar fine on a billionaire.
