Jewish-Christian interfaith dialogue has failed to curb rising antisemitism, including and especially among Christians. Christian institutions are largely indifferent and inactive on these issues. I'm going to keep working on it, despite this.

I think interfaith work being Jewish and Christian communities is going to fail to curb rising antisemitism. Christian antisemitism, in particular, is going to continue to rise and endanger Jewish people, as a result of Christian institutional indifference towards the safety of Jewish people. I will do interfaith work anyway.

I am furious. For 10 days, Lakota Sioux have been snowed in and trapped in South/North Dakota. I just now heard about this. People are dying. Many have no heat, they can’t get food or fuel. They are burning clothes.

If we start there, then MAYBE we might find a way to welcome this new wave of users such that they can figure out how to be at home in the fediverse and, in doing so, we can figure out how to improve the ways that the fediverse serves as a social platform.

The best explanation of Musk’s behavior is that he’s a giant doofus who leveraged personal wealth to buy IP and then turn it into companies and startups that further leverage other people’s IP, and he finally bought something that will actually have financial blowback on him personally.

In case anyone was confused, silencing journalists who cover you is pretty much the antithesis of free speech.
