Good morning from a grey & rainy Tokyo. Busy-ish day at the desk and a meeting with magazine printer later this afternoon, to go over some final details and stroke some papers.

Few old shots, from back in 2017. Made with the wonderful Alexandra Farber, a pro dancer from the US.

Have a great day
❤️

Good morning to you all from a sunny Tokyo. Temps hitting 25C today. Thankfully, for now, the temp drops at night. Anyway, busy busy for the last week. Hitting a big deadline for a client. But all good. And about to bury myself in editing for another client, for a few days.

Hope you're having a good week.

Pic details in the ALT.

Good morning, you lovely people. Sunny & the perfect temperature here right now in Tokyo. Meetings, some design work to do in the office today. And will get myself out for a walk, too.

Shot one scene with my camera, whilst out with my student last night. Worked nice.

Why Trump’s ‘Golden Dome’ Won’t Shield the U.S. from Nuclear Strikes

The White House’s $175-billion plan to protect the U.S. from nuclear annihilation will probably cost much more—and deliver far less—than has been claimed, says nuclear arms expert Jeffrey Lewis

Scientific American

Imagine in 20 years having to explain we used to have chocolate and coffee but we let a couple of guys destroy the earth so they could have all the money.

Future generations will think we're insane. We look back at cave people and think 'yeah nice finger paintings and bone tools you absolute idiots - we did planes and twitter'.

We are the cave people now. We are the idiots.

Government-created inflation is back https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/05/21/government-created-inflation-is-back/ Inflation is up. That's all down to government incompetence in permitting excessive price increases in regulated industries., And we'll all pay a price for that as the Bank of England seeks to keep interest rates high as a result. Incompetence on a grand scale is there for all to see.
The stock market is failing according to the CBI. So why don’t we just let it go?

I posted this on Twitter this morning: https://twitter.com/RichardJMurphy/status/1942861045426516103 My point is serious. The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. The question that needs to be asked is, why is that?...

Funding the Future

A "Golden Dome" system won't protect the United States when the attack on the nation is coming from within, as it is now.

"It's a generational investment in the security of America and Americans," Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said.
