Brief reminder on cryptocurrencies.
When trying to understand any form of cryptocurrency, understanding valuation relative to something similar is useful:
1 crypto coin == 3 Dutch 1637 tulips == 1/2 unicorn horn == 0.1 the Carnwennan dagger == 1 vial with 5 mermaid tears == 1/3 scroll of invisibility to dragons

Those are approximate as the value of each frequently changes from 0 to multiples of the square root of -1. For the most up-to-date values, check with the clerks at Gringotts.

Gun nuts get very upset when you mislabel an AR-15 as an assault rifle. So to avoid any controversy, please refer to the weapon using its proper technical classification, which is a mass murder rifle.

@davidallengreen It is absolutely minimising impact on existing ecosystems at the cost of concrete use and expense.

There doesn't seem to be any real evidence of poor project management from HS2 Ltd, as opposed to the continual descoping and pausing from the political side.

“NASA is hiding proof of aliens!” has to be one of the funniest takes ever.

NASA is comprised almost entirely of nerds like many of us watching Star Trek and Doctor Who and shit.

If NASA had proof of alien life they’d be throwing a massive kegger on top of the Johnson Space Center and submitting a budget to Congress for eleventy trillion dollars.

Baron von Totenkopf sat on his infamous Throne of Skulls and gurned furiously, as if pinching a loaf—
Today I learned about Harris hawk stacking.
This is the greatest.

Better Know a Bird: How Harris’s Hawks Hunt Like Wolves to Bring Down Prey

Teaming up helps these agile raptors take on animals twice their size. But we’re still not sure why they stand on each other.
