I make experimental electronic and acoustic music involving free improvisation, adapting to complex systems and making & using terrible instruments. I've done solo and collaborative performances, installations, sculpture, radio pieces, chamber composition, video work and more. 


I also make instruments/devices (not terrible) under the name noise.technology. I sell them online and use them in workshops.

This lift control panel is 100% baffling. (Level 0 is half a stair up, but if you go around the back of the building you sort of ramp up gradually so it's also at ground level)

The notion of a broken clock being sometimes right is based on a gross misunderstanding of what information is.

A clock that always shows the same time is never right, even in the moments of the day when the time happens to be what it shows, because you don't gain any information about what time it is by looking at the clock.

This reasoning also applies to chatbots. If you can't tell whether what you have been given is useful information unless you alreay know the information, then you haven't been given useful information.

“Appears to contradict” is one of those sentences I wish journalists were only allowed to use once per subject. After the first time they should have to say, this person’s claims are unverified and cannot be taken at face value.
