Perfect!

In Wyoming, the legislature has decided, that you cannot require others to address you by your preferred pronouns — thinking that this will only hurt trans people, Trump wants to persecute.

So citizen Britt Boril calls in to a committee meeting and deliberately misgenders the male chairman as madam, which he takes offence to — because our rule about allowing disrespect was not meant to be used against us!

(And no, you should never misgenders others, but damn… this move was brilliant)

If you work from home, you may go several days without speaking to another human being, but there are also disadvantages.

Good comeback. Checks many boxes of how to respond to comments of this kind:

- call out their bullshit
- respond with kindness
- craft your message not with the edgelord in mind, but write it for the rest of the community (the edgelord will hate it anyway, so no need to pander to them)

@emarktaylor @olympicschat I was looking for a painter on the Eifel Tower

Sometimes marketing is all about waiting long enough for your audience to forget about the 80s and 90s.

I love how ALDI celebrates this brilliant new design that saves 40% of plastic by removing the plastic lid.

“Welcome to the end of democracy. We are here to overthrow it completely. We didn’t get all the way there on January 6 but we will endeavor to get rid of it.”

When they tell you who they are, believe them.

Never let a job steal your life.

The company you work for is not your family, you don't owe a job anything beyond the work you're being paid for.

Prioritize your well-being over misplaced loyalty, and never feel guilty about leaving a job.

Companies aren't families, they're businesses. It's a business relationship and their goal is to make money.

If they can make more money by laying you off, they will.

If you have an opportunity to better yourself, never feel guilty about taking it.
