Caught a shoal bass in the hooch this afternoon. There were gar and a carp sharing the eddy, but they took no interest in my streamer. This hot pink is my favorite color for stained water.

It was a bit of a journey to figure out these hollow deceivers, and I haven't made one in more than a year. I'll have to sit down and figure it out again soon.

Last day of vacation in Florida. The weather is alternating sun and thunder storm. I had this first flush golden green before the power went out this morning. Now we are waiting for the weather to clear up so that we can get in the pool.

Did my basic fishing circuit this evening. It has been a minute. Caught just one wee little bass. It went ok, and I'm gonna take my fly rod into PT in the morning so my therapist can see what my body is doing.
