Children are starving in Gaza. Instead of opening up the borders and allowing humanitarian aid to come in, Israeli soldiers are shooting people who are desperately trying to get food off of trucks. This must stop. The U.S. cannot continue funding the Netanyahu war machine.
I sent an email to the norwegian meteorological institute asking why their Android app requires Google Play services, and they actually got back to me explaining it's because of a location permission quirk on older Android versions that acts a little strangely on new Android versions without Play Services.
They just never caught that in testing or were asked about it by anyone until now.
But since I brought it up they're currently looking into a way to just remove all those Google dependencies from the app entirely, that's honestly so awesome of them.
