The UK has announced plans to fast-track legislation requiring “age verification for VPN use”. The correct term, however, is not age verification but identity verification.
A law like this would require everyone to identify themselves in order to use a VPN. This would pose a risk to whistleblowers, violate human rights, and represent yet another step toward an authoritarian society.

Might be time for me to buy that standalone alarm clock I’ve been considering to leave my phone in another room away from my bed.
Had my Clicks keyboard for 2 days and I’m not sure I can go on without it. Definitely not everybody’s cup of tea, but I missed the tactility of real keys on my phone.
I missed out on owning a Blackberry too, this is bringing me back to my much loved Nokia E71.
