I am rediscovering computing of the times passed... when I visited university, I used an Atari Portfolio (still a fan!), while some friends of mine used PSION series 3 handhelds with similar success. Now, decades later, my interest in the PSION devices is triggered. Not sure about OPL, however, having some native prog-lang aboard seems a good thing. Mind you the PoFo can run a lot of DOS based languages, such as Turbo Pascal 3.

@oz9qv when I bought my ft 817, just when it came out, I ordered it with the cw filter. Don't want to cannibalize the 817 though.

Just secured a brand new FT-818. Allegedly the production has been stopped due to a lack on parts.

Migration from FreeNas to TrueNas was easy. TrueNas 12 to 13 was ok. Update within TrueNas asked for manual import of the data pools. Hmmmm, doable but not user-friendly.
