@deirdrebeth @wslack @your_huckleberry Every billionaire is a Dangerous policy failure that pairs well with white whine.

@sks316 @taylorlorenz it’s not harder for them to understand. I use both, daily. I get 10x the interaction on Bluesky because I can create MY OWN feed algorithms. I can share them with others. I can get block lists from trusted accounts that eliminate a lot of unwanted content. I bridged to the fediverse with a simple follow.

It’s just a cleaner experience, fediverse connected, and I’m in greater control over the content I see.

@MaggieCi everything the sun touches is theirs

@racheltobac does changing this setting remove all your data from training, or does it stop new data from being used?

Kinda wanna know before I dust off my log in credentials

@hfalcke “water can make things look bigger or smaller” is the way to go. Simple, factual, not nuanced.
@McSpocky lmao, absolutley do this, but this will be cause a lot of voter fraud claims like “my wife got hacked!” Or “someone must have changed their vote!” Be ready for it, because controlling partners can check if they have the voter’s personal info 🙃

@gamingonlinux I just got curious about Bluesky and made an account a couple days ago. I had a follow within minutes, and more replies in an hour than I’ve had my whole time on mastodon. Plus, with multiple feeds, I was able to easily follow good accounts quickly.

I love the grass roots feeling of Mastodon, but it’s often like screaming into the void. I posted a simple Linux question with the popular hashtags and got zero replies here. There, I got 5 replies.

@SkipHuffman @fesshole idk, my kids were empathetic when they were still in diapers. Also, empathy, or the lack thereof, is not strictly a “boy” thing.

What you should be saying is “If only more parents taught their children empathy works the same way.”

The CDL was never contested or sued prior to the recent case because it is rightfully legal. And if IA had ended the NEL unlimited when the national emergency ended, they may have seen a different result in court. Or at the very least, I’d be avidly protesting their lost case.

They moved to legal gray area with NEL. This could be progress. Then when books became accessible again they made a bad choice.
