I’d like to see more consistency in the Fediverse in regard to copyright law.

I’m in agreement when I see people decry AI techbros stealing pretty much the entire internet and handing out worse versions of the content for free.

I’m in amazement watching the same people suggest Internet Archive was wronged, they should be able to hand out unlimited copies of artists’ works.

Let’s cut through the dissonance: should rights owners decide how their works are distributed or not? I think yes.

I’m considering switching from Windows to Linux. I could really use someone to ask a few questions to.

I run an AM5 build, with AMD processor and GPU. My use case is mostly gaming, but just really Fortnite with my daughter and Steam (Counter-strike: source and God of War).

I’m looking for the path of least resistant to enter the Linux stream :)

Call her Kamala or Harris or Kamala Harris. All three are correct, and we have much bigger fish to fry than calling out for using a name she asked to be known as.

Gotta say, Harris has pivoted discourse.

I stopped checking social media a while ago because it was a bit bleak. I knew who I needed to vote for to not vote for a criminal fascist.

When I found out Biden endorsed Harris, I got curious and decided to see what fedi had to say.

I’m pleasantly surprised with the energy and positivity I’ve seen. It’s a stark contrast to 6 months ago, imo.

All I can really say is I think Harris is a change we need, especially when the alternative is fascism.

You’re foolish if you think those are actual lefties or believe they would have voted for Biden either way.

You’re hearing the excuses of embarrassed #fascists. And believing it.

But sure, point the finger at each other and not at the fascists. That’s certainly going to help.

Defederate threads. Defederate instances that federate with Threads if you want. Or, federate with instances that let hate speech mingle with their users. It’s up to y’all admins.

But personally, I don’t hang out with hatemongers or people who hang out with hatemongers. If I know you allow Nazis or fascists in your home, you can fucking bet I won’t be coming over, even if I don’t have to see them personally.
