In another call for a more positive politics, Deborah Frances-White argues that:
'For too long, progressive people have tried to scold others into acquiescing rather than draw people into a place of understanding & empathy. We have to get more persuasive. Most of all, we need to find ways of reigniting those who’ve given up on democracy'.
Again: there is a real need for a positive & empowering message in politics not the usual 'vote against them' rhetoric.
