À part changer l'arrière-plan, je n'avais jamais vraiment joué avec les thèmes visuels pour le menu entre Windows et Linux au démarrage (Grub). Je manquais de quoi. Inutile donc indispensable! 🤩

Almost through the Gentoo install process, only to realise that the WiFI isn't being detected; I had been using a USB-C hub with an Ethernet port up until now.
Ran lspci and it shows this:01:00.0 Network controller: MEDIATEK Corp. Device 7902
Searched up this adapter (MT7902), only to find out that there are no Linux drivers for it. None in the kernel or out-of-tree. Ok, uh...

I HATE MEDIATEK I HATE MEDIATEK I HATE MEDIATEK
Haven't felt this in a very long time, since my early days of Android tinkering. That damnable MTK plagues me yet again, this time with wireless adapters. Really thought that needing to look for compatible networking adapters was a bygone era, but nope. Of course it just had to be MTK bringing it back.
I'm actually stuck with Windows 11 on this machine. Think I might do something drastic to it. All this rage needs to go somewhere.
EDIT:
Forgot to mention earlier that I cannot afford a network adapter right now. So yeah, completely boned.
