since this toot gets attention from time to time, i will answer my own question: There are some essays by Abdullah Öcalan at http://rojaciwan.eu/brosuren-serokati/?lang=de which explain the basic theoretical concepts.
There also is a book called "Das Manifest der Jugend" (the youth manifesto, don't know if there is an englisch version). It gives a good overview on the kurdish struggle and its history, but i recommend to read it critically at some points (read it with comrades and discuss about it!)

German tank manufacturers want to improve german tanks used by the turkish army. The german foreign ministry seems to support this efforts to free a jailed german journalist that does not want to be part of such a deal. There are reports stating Turkey used such tanks in northern Syria in 2016/17 against YPG/J forces at the Syria/Turkey border.
