@paulfree14 +1 for encrypted disks. You could try to achieve something similar with a keyfile on a memory stick (but I haven't done this and I don't know if this works on boot time)
@paulfree14 There are people who say that this is done so the next government can decide on it with less critical attention, which I think is something that could happen.
since this toot gets attention from time to time, i will answer my own question: There are some essays by Abdullah Öcalan at http://rojaciwan.eu/brosuren-serokati/?lang=de which explain the basic theoretical concepts.
There also is a book called "Das Manifest der Jugend" (the youth manifesto, don't know if there is an englisch version). It gives a good overview on the kurdish struggle and its history, but i recommend to read it critically at some points (read it with comrades and discuss about it!)
