In jedem Liter eingeatmeter Luft stecken 3.432.000.000.000.000.000 CO2-Moleküle fossiler Brennstoffe. Gesundheitsschädlich ist das zwar nicht - aber man muss es wissen, um den Klimawandel zu verstehen.

Imagine having a billion dollars and wasting your time doing anything other than:

1. Reading novels in the bath
2. Making art
3. Traveling
4. Cooking and eating
5. Giving heaps of cash to awesome people and institutions who need it

Notion is such a good example of a tool with a team that did not know when to stop and reflect, but just kept adding.

We had a brilliant drawing teacher and sculptor in university. I was very pleased with one of my drawings and kept going, adding more and more details. He suddenly stood behind me and shouted: "Stop! You are riding a dead horse here!" I had killed what was already good by not stopping. That lesson really stuck with me.

Today is a big (pre-)release day 🚀 Kirby 5.1.0-rc.1 & Kirby 5.0.4 are here:

The latest version of Obsidian Web Clipper adds Interpreter which lets you extract page content and manipulate it using natural language, e.g.

"5 tags about this page, comma separated, don't include the subject of the page as a tag"

"3 bullet point summary, any titles and references to people, places, or books should be in [[wikilink]] format"

This is super useful to create consistent data structures for research within your vault. You can run it locally using Ollama.

Obsidian Help

I love #obsidian. I wish the mobile app was better.

Mobile needs to be a different app. It does not need to have feature parity with the desktop app. It should do one thing very well - quick capture.
