It's time to migrate away from #Vercel.

- Its CEO supports both Trump and Netanyahu.
- Vercel will officially steal your code to train LLMs.
- Vercel will sell everything they know about you to advertisers and data brokers, which in turn sell that data about you to the FBI, ICE, etc.

Related: The creator of the popular terminal emulator #Ghostty just joined Vercel's board of director because he cannot imagine a better place to be right now.

It introduces the option `external_term = "ghostty_splitโ€œ`, leveraging AppleScript in Ghostty. I do not know if there are better ways to do it, not limited to macOS.

Anyway, please keep in mind I did very limited testing since at the moment I am still using httpgd.
Furthermore, I did it with the help of AI (which is a concern to me), but I have fully reviewed and partly rewritten it.

Well, well, #Ghostty landed in #FreeBSD! Gave it a quick spin. Shaders also work.

@jacket I use #ghostty without the multiplexer features. It is fast, has image and all sorts of font stuff support. And its easier and deeply customizable. And it is run by the absolute gigachad (at)mitchellh(at)hachyderm.io

I stopped using Zellij and switched to base Ghostty tabs, panes and splits.

So far so good, but I can't count how many times my muscle memory automatically worked and used old Zellij keybindings instead of new ones ๐Ÿ˜…

I don't understand the hype around #ghostty. I see it has split screen. That's cool but I personally don't use that cause I already have #tmux for that. It's not that I don't like it, it's just I don't understand why this one over an other. Can someone explain?
