Multiple renewables and battery records hit yesterday on the #NEM, with the cumulative peak output of all of the nation’s grid batteries surpassing that of a large thermal power station. Expect this trend to only accelerate as more and more batteries come online.

They’ve taken great care to pick the line colours that’ll ultimately end up being used, and have even included the City Loop reconfiguration where an extra tunnel portal is dug to create a bidirectional through line from Frankston to Cragieburn. Love the line names as well.

It seems Apple Maps has done a pretty nice 3D satellite scan of the State Library station construction access shaft, cnr Swanston and La Trobe. You can even see an excavator down there!
Just paid a visit to our new, first of its kind tram-train interchange here in #Melbourne. Situated on the St Kilda Rd corridor, the busiest tram corridor in the world, trams in both directions run around either side of the station entrance, where passengers will be able to alight and immediately take escalators down to the platforms—no road crossing required!
