The Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective (TACC) recently submitted a formal complaint to the BBC and sent letters to the Women and Equalities Committee, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, and the Minister for Women and Equalities, Bridget Phillipson MP. November 8th marks Intersex Day of Remembrance.
The date marks the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a notable French Intersex person who lived from 1838 to 1868.
Intersex Day of Remembrance is a day to remember those who are no longer with us and highlight issues that the Intersex community face.
