Another reason to hate #Apple We're seeing more 2018+ MacBook Pro/Air donations — but Apple's T2 chip means even after iCloud sign-out and reset, the firmware stays locked to the original account.

Without donor contact, these machines are useless. :(

I've upcycled ~1,000 older Macs, but T2 era machines will end that. It's controlling, creates e-waste, and will only get worse. #righttorepair matters — Apple couldn't care less.

OK! I'm still not fully recovered, but the sun's shining, and I think I can do it! I'll start my Golden Sun: The Lost Age playthrough tonight at 18:00 BST (UST+1; 6 hours and 11 minutes from now).

We'll see how long it takes me to input that password. =3

Yes, I know that entering a 255 character perfectly is going to drive me up the wall, yes I'm still doing it on stream.

I'm calling the poll today (no quote post of the poll on this site, since it wisely blocks images and links in quotes), the next stream is gonna be Golden Sun: The Lost Age.

Unfortunately I've picked up a bit of a bug over the last few days, and my respiratory system is currently too busy with green gunk to let me turn on screen text into noise

Hopefully streams will resume on Wednesday.
